News WATB has been issued a construction permit from the FCC
WATB has been issued a construction permit from the Federal Communications Commission to change its operating frequency to 1430 kHz and increase its daytime power to 50,000 watts and its nighttime power to 174 watts with both situations using a directional antenna pattern. This change is pending the move of WGFS (AM) located in Covington, Georgia from 1430 kHz to 1220 kHz.
